Taren Morse is passionate about art and enjoys everything from digital illustration to traditional sculpture. Her primary area of focus is concept art for film and game design which involves the visual development of characters, creatures, props, and environments for the purpose of creating visual impact through storytelling.
She earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Illustration at the Academy of Art University. While at AAU, she studied under a number of talented artists, among them is Scott Caple who worked on films such as “The Incredibles”, “Mulan”, “The Emperor’s New Groove” and “Finding Nemo” to name a few. In addition, she also studied under Francis Hsu who worked at top companies such as WETA Digital and helped visually develop films such as “The Hobbit” and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”.
